The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has announced plans to unveil the manifesto of its governorship candidate, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, at an official event scheduled for Friday. The announcement was made by Musiliu Obanikoro, the director-general of the PBAT-KOH Campaign Council, during a press briefing held in Lagos.
According to the campaign leadership, the upcoming manifesto presentation will take place at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu. The document is designed to outline the candidate's strategic vision, key priorities, and specific plans aimed at sustaining development and addressing the public service needs of the state.
Obanikoro emphasized that the campaign platform is built upon the principles of shared progress and inclusivity. He noted that Lagos requires experienced leadership capable of protecting effective existing policies while implementing necessary corrections and expanding public infrastructure across sectors such as transportation, housing, and education.
The campaign team stated that extensive consultations have been conducted with traditional rulers, religious leaders, community groups, traders, and various professionals throughout the state. These stakeholder engagements were intended to ensure that the final manifesto accurately reflects the diverse needs of residents while preserving the heritage of the indigenous population.
Following the formal presentation on Friday, the manifesto will be made available online for public review. The campaign encourages members of the public to examine the proposals and provide feedback through designated party channels as preparations continue for the upcoming electoral contest.
