Speaking at the unveiling, the National Coordinator of the Niger Delta Youth Council Worldwide and Publisher of The Niger Delta Chronicle, Engr. Jator Abido, described the newspaper as a strategic instrument for regional development rather than a conventional media outlet. According to Engr. Abido, The Niger Delta Chronicle is positioned to serve as a credible platform for development reporting, policy engagement, youth empowerment advocacy, and economic inclusion. In his goodwill message, the Chairman of the occasion commended the initiative, describing the launch of a regional development-oriented newspaper as timely and necessary. He noted that credible media platforms such as The Niger Delta Chronicle are essential for strengthening transparency, peace-building, and investor confidence in the Niger Delta.
