Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has expressed strong confidence that at least 70,000 residents will turn out to welcome President Bola Tinubu during his upcoming presidential rally in Rivers State. The event is scheduled to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium located in Port Harcourt.

Speaking after an inspection of the venue, Wike noted that comprehensive security measures and logistical arrangements had been finalized to guarantee a successful gathering. He highlighted the significance of the visit, pointing out that it marks President Tinubu's first official trip to the state since he assumed office in May 2023.

The minister compared the venue's capacity to previous political events in the region, noting that the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium features a 40,000-seat capacity, which surpasses other local venues. Ahead of the presidential visit, campaign buses and coordinators participated in a mobilization roadshow across the twenty-three local government areas of the state to build public awareness and excitement.

Wike emphasized that the upcoming rally serves as an essential platform for political engagement as candidates prepare for the 2027 general elections. Despite his own political affiliation, the FCT minister has remained a prominent figure in regional mobilization efforts, maintaining that local supporters are fully prepared to receive the administration's leadership.
